Type a brand name or a handle. SPOE asks every big platform and the main domain endings at once, and shows where it is free to claim.
Asked at once, wherever the platform answers plainly: X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Telegram, Bluesky, Mastodon, Shopify, Substack, Gumroad, Patreon, Linktree, Behance, Vimeo, GitHub, npm, Docker Hub, DEV and Hacker News, plus .com, .com.au, .au, .ai, .io, .app, .dev, .co, .net and .org. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Reddit, Pinterest, Twitch, Etsy, Ko-fi and Medium refuse checks from other sites or answer every name alike, so they come with a link instead of a guess.
For each platform SPOE asks for the public page of that name, the way a browser would, and reads whether the page is there. Domains are asked of their registry directly (RDAP), the same record every registrar reads.
Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit and Etsy refuse checks from other sites, and Twitch and Pinterest answer a real name and a missing one alike. Rather than guess, SPOE gives you the link: one click shows you.
Before a platform's "free" is believed, SPOE checks that the same platform still calls a name that is certainly taken taken. If a platform stops answering plainly, its row turns into "check yourself" instead of a wrong "free". A name can still be reserved or banned by a platform without a public page.
No. The name is not stored and not written to any log. Nobody at SPOE sees what you looked up.
Yes, with no sign-up. Once you have the name, SPOE can build its website too, and the code is yours to take anywhere.
