SPOE is an alternative to Lovable, Bolt, Base44, v0, Replit, Bubble, Emergent, Rocket, Anything and Softr for people who want private inference and to keep and export their code. Each page below names the real alternatives to one builder, with free plans, prices, export and privacy from the builders' own pages, and says when you are better off staying where you are.
SPOE made this page, and SPOE is one of the picks, so every line about another builder is from that builder's own pages, with the link and the date it was read (2026-10-22 or 2026-10-26). Each one also says when that builder may suit you better. Updated 26 October 2026.
Or sorted by what you need: The best AI app builders in 2026, by what you need.
| Builder | Free plan | Paid plans from | Get your code out | Runs without the builder | Your prompts and training | Best if |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SPOE | 5 free prompts a day on the default models once you have signed up and your email address is proven (by Google or GitHub, or where email sign-up is open, a code we email you). No card. Then any first payment opens every model and export, for good. | US$25 a month, or a one-off credit pack from US$19. Credits never expire. | A ZIP, unlocked for good by your first payment of any size. | docker compose up, with nothing of SPOE inside. | The default models keep no copy. Chats, bots and images stay on your device. | You want to hold the code, prove what was built, and keep your prompts private. |
| Lovable | 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month. Starting to build is free. (source) | $25 a month (Pro, 100 credits), or $21 a month billed yearly. (source) | A ZIP on paid plans. On any plan, one file at a time. (source) | Only once it stops calling Lovable. Its built-in backend, AI and connectors run through Lovable until you replace them. (source) | On Free and Pro, your data may train its models unless you opt out, since 9 September 2026. Business and Enterprise are excluded by default. (source) | You would rather one managed service build, host and run your web app, with its database, sign-in, storage and AI built in, than run the code yourself. |
| Bolt | 1 million tokens a month, at most 300,000 a day. (source) | $25 a month (Pro, billed monthly), or $18 a month billed yearly. (source) | A ZIP of the project files, at any time. (source) | The download runs on your computer with npm install && npm run dev. Its pages do not say whether an app on Bolt Database keeps working after you leave. (source) | May train AI models on your projects and chats unless you turn the setting off; it is off by default only in the EU, UK and Switzerland. (source) | You want to build in one browser tab with nothing to install, and let Bolt Cloud handle the database, sign-in, hosting and domain, or build mobile apps with Expo. |
| Base44 | 5 message credits a day, up to 25 a month, and up to 5 apps. (source) | $16 a month (Starter, billed yearly). (source) | A ZIP from Builder up. Its docs call it a copy, not a way off Base44. (source) | No. Its docs say exported code still relies on Base44 to run, and Base44 does not support self-hosting. (source) | Can be used to train AI models on every plan but Enterprise, with no opt-out setting. (source) | You want authentication, a database and integrations that work with no setup, and are happy to run the app on Base44's infrastructure. |
| v0 | 7 messages a day, and $5 of credits once for new users. (source) | $30 per user a month (Plus). Premium, at $20, is closed to new users. (source) | A ZIP from the project menu. (source) | You can export the code and deploy it elsewhere, its FAQ says. Env vars, deploys and previews come with a Vercel project. (source) | May use your prompts and content for training unless you opt out in your Vercel team's data preferences. Enterprise content is not used. (source) | You build in Next.js, host on Vercel already, and want one place from prompt to production, with GitHub pull requests and preview deployments. |
| Replit | Starter is free: a daily Agent allowance, limited monthly cloud credits and one published app, whose link goes down after 30 days. (source) | $18 a month (Core, billed yearly). (source) | A ZIP from the file tree's menu. (source) | Self-hosting is Enterprise only, in early access: a Docker image, a Terraform file and an SBOM. (source) | Your prompts and its responses are used to improve its models. The opt-out is described for Pro; Enterprise content is not used for training. (source) | You want one company to build your app and also run it, with the backend, database, file storage, sign-in and one-click hosting managed on its cloud. |
| Bubble | Free to build, with 50,000 workload units a month. Putting a live version of the app online needs a paid plan. (source) | $59 a month (Starter, billed yearly). (source) | No code: its manual says an app cannot be exported as code. The data your users create exports as CSV files. (source) | No. Its manual says Bubble apps run only on Bubble, and leaving means rebuilding the app's logic. If Bubble were ever discontinued, it says its own source code would be released under an open-source licence. (source) | Its Terms let it use what you give its AI tools, and what they return, to train and improve them, and share your input with third-party AI services. Their AI section names no opt-out. (source) | You want to build a web or native mobile app with no code, editing every page, workflow and database field visually, and are happy for it to run only on Bubble. |
| Emergent | 10 credits on your first day, to build and test in the workspace. Publishing to production and custom domains need Standard or Pro. (source) | $20 a month (Standard, 100 credits), or $17 a month billed yearly. (source) | No download or archive button. The code leaves through a GitHub push, or by copying it from the VS Code view on any plan. (source) | Code pushed to GitHub can be published with any hosting provider you choose, its FAQ says. Exporting production data is not yet self-serve. (source) | It does not train AI on your personal data, and bars its AI providers from training on your prompts and code. Data about how you use the service may train its models, with no opt-out. (source) | You want AI agents to build, test and host a web or mobile app for you, with sign-in, a database and one key for many AI models built in. |
| Rocket | 20 credits once, with no time limit and no card. (source) | $25 a month (Pro, 100 credits), or 20% off billed yearly. (source) | A ZIP from the code view, from Pro, in a web browser. (source) | The ZIP runs on your computer with npm install and npm run dev, once you fill in your own keys in the environment template it comes with. (source) | Its privacy policy says it does not use your personal data or the content you submit to train external AI models. (source) | You want websites, web apps and Flutter mobile apps from a prompt, with research and competitor tracking paid from the same credits. |
| Anything | No free building: building an app needs a paid plan. (source) | $24 a month (Pro, 20,000 credits), or $19 a month billed yearly. (source) | A ZIP of the source code from the Code tab, at any time. (source) | Its FAQ says the code is yours to download, modify and deploy anywhere. (source) | Its Terms count your prompts and the code made from them as your data, which it may use to provide and improve its services. They do not mention training AI models on it. (source) | You want an agent to build web and native mobile apps for you and publish them to the App Store, with a database, backend and AI features built in and hosted. |
| Softr | Free forever: 5 AI credits a month, unlimited apps, 5 app users and 5,000 database records. (source) | $25 a month (Basic), or $19 a month billed yearly. (source) | No code to download: Softr says there is no generated code behind your app. (source) | No. Its docs say Softr does not currently offer self-hosting. (source) | Its Terms say you own what you give its AI tools and what they make, and your data goes through them only when you choose to use them. They do not mention training AI models on it. (source) | You want client portals, internal tools or a CRM built with no code, on data you already keep in Airtable, Google Sheets or HubSpot, with sign-in, permissions and hosting handled by Softr. |

5 free prompts a day on the default models once you have signed up and your email address is proven (by Google or GitHub, or where email sign-up is open, a code we email you), no card: each one a build or a change, back every day at midnight UTC. Your first payment of any size, a credit pack or a plan, opens every model, chat, pictures and export, for good. A whole app on the default model usually takes about 70 to 200 credits, and you see the estimate first. A plan from US$25 a month for 6,000 credits every month (two months free by the year), or a credit pack bought once, from US$19 for 4,000 credits. Credits never expire, and each model is used at its own price.
